John
Sites, MD
Dr. Ira John Sites, III was born in Dunedin, Florida. He was raised by his parents, Ira and Debra, and spent most of his childhood in Venice, Florida. He obtained his bachelor’s degree at the University of Florida, majoring in Biochemistry. He decided to pursue a career as a physician and was accepted to the University of Florida College of Medicine. After the completion of his medical degree, he chose to devote his life to improving women's health. He completed his training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Florida - Shands Jacksonville, and returned to the Tampa area to begin his career.
John has a special interest in Global Health and has provided medical care in the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and Jamaica. He is currently planning to travel to Africa to continue this work. He is also interested in politics and, in his spare time, enjoys playing guitar and fishing in the beautiful Florida sunshine.
